Learning Objectives
During the Biomimetic Mastership, we guide you through the science behind and help you master the biomimetic restorative techniques for:
Diagnosis and treatment of caries and cracks into dentin
Isolation, including rubber dam, teflon and copper placement
Immediate dentin sealing, resin coating, deep margin elevation, use of Ribbond and creating your biobase
Controlling for c-factor stresses in prep design
Semi-direct onlay fabrication and bonding to enamel
Occlusal adjustment and verticalization of envelope of function
Applications in endodontically treated teeth
Biomimetic dentistry is more than a before and after photo. Alumni of the Biomimetic Mastership learn the techniques and science behind each step in a biomimetic restoration.
Course Outline
Live Lectures
Each Biomimetic Mastership class starts with weekly lectures held live over Zoom. The two-hour lectures give attendees time to discuss what they are learning, share cases and ask questions.

Lectures are given live at three times each Monday and recorded for attendees to review during their program year.
Year-Long Mentorship
The techniques you learn during the Biomimetic Mastership will change the way you practice, and the mentors at the Alleman Center will be there to help you every step of the way. Between one-on-one meetings, on-demand online resources and a global forum of fellow learners, we support the doctors in our course throughout their biomimetic journey.
Study the Science
Science is the foundation of the Six Lessons Approach. With each step doctors learn in the Biomimetic Mastership, they also learn the research behind it. Building techniques this way gives you more predictable outcomes with every restoration. Doctors in the Biomimetic Mastership have access to Dr. Alleman’s library of over 130 annotated articles
